Our mission, "to be a caring and involved financial partner in our community," showcases how much we value our community. We fulfill this mission through our Financial Education Programs, Community Engagement opportunities, Staff Volunteer Hours, and Event Sponsorship.

40+ orgnizations were served in 2024, in the Barry County Area. Including the Delton, Middleville and Hastings Area schools, Barry County United Way, YMCA of Barry County, Community Action and Commission on Aging.

Volunteer Hours Completed

1161.2 Hours were served by TCU Staff in our community during the 2024 year.

Poverty Walk Events

Step into the reality of growing poverty in our neighborhoods. In partnership with the Barry County United Way, our Poverty Walk simulation uses real Barry County statistics to create an immersive experience. This authenticity allows you to walk in the shoes of a family facing real-life struggles, fostering a deeper understanding and empathy towards those impacted by poverty. It is highly recommended for employers, teachers, elected board members, and any other professionals who work with financially diverse populations.
